The Department of Minority Welfare, Government of Karnataka intends to sponsor students of Minority Community for UPSC, Indian Civil Services Examinations 2011 and KPSC, Karnataka Administrative Service Exams.
Applications are invited from candidates belonging to minority communities of Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Sikhs, Parsis & Jains who are eligible to appear for the above examinations of 2011-12 for Pre-Examination training for preliminary and Main examination.
Selection of candidates will be by an objective type examination of 200 marks which will be held during August 2011.
Amount
Selected candidates will be sponsored to institution of their choice at New Delhi/Hyderabad/Chennai/Bangalore etc for UPSC and at different places in Karnataka for KPSC.
The coaching fee for all the subjects will be paid by the Government and also a stipend of Rs. 5000/- per candidate, per month for places outside Karnataka and Rs. 3000/- per month for places within Karnataka will be paid for one year to the selected candidates.
The applicant’s parents/guardian’s annual income should not exceed Rs. 2 lakh per annum.
